
We raise farm fresh chickens and pigs and rent the roaster in which to cook them, complete with the charcoal and lighter fluid. We will instruct you how to prepare your own roast, or will do limited catering for your pigroast party.
An average pig is between 125-150 pounds, live weight. This should easily feed 40-50 guests. The pig will take approximately 8-9 hours to fully cook in the roaster. Rotating is not necessary.
We rent the roaster out for a 24-hour period. We can deliver the roaster, for a small fee within 20 miles, on the morning of your event or you may pick it up yourself. The roasters must be hauled in a pickup truck or trailer; they do not have hitches to tow behind your vehicle. |
